Time and attendance software for Tunisia
Clock in from a browser, from a phone with GPS position, or from your existing biometric terminals. Consolidated hours feed the payroll calculation directly.
What the time tracking module does for you
Web, mobile with GPS, or terminal
Employees clock in from a browser or a phone · in which case the GPS position and accuracy are recorded. Six events are tracked: in, out, break start and end, meal start and end, with a guard that refuses impossible sequences.
Your biometric terminals stay where they are
Levia receives punches from five terminal brands · ZKTeco, Suprema, Hikvision, Anviz and Dahua · on an endpoint protected by a token specific to each device. For offline terminals, the punch file imports as CSV, Excel or .dat.
Worksites, GPS zones and doubtful punches
You declare your sites with their position and radius, in advisory or blocking mode. Impossible positions, poor accuracy and out-of-zone punches are flagged to HR instead of being swallowed silently.
Hours that reach the payslip
Repeated lateness, absences and suspicious punches are gathered on an anomalies screen. Overtime rules · weekday, weekend, public holiday, night · are configurable, versioned, and read by the payroll calculation.
Five terminal brands, one screen · and what it does not do
Levia receives and parses punches pushed by ZKTeco terminals (both the iClock format and the SOAP format of the MultiBio range), Suprema, Hikvision, Anviz and Dahua. Each device authenticates with its serial number and an encrypted token, and reception is idempotent · the same punch replayed by the network does not create a duplicate.
Let us also state what does not exist, because that is what wastes time in a demo: Levia does not drive your terminals remotely. Fingerprint or face enrolment, user synchronisation and on-demand polling stay in the manufacturer’s software. Levia listens, consolidates and computes.
If a site has no network, the terminal’s export imports as a file · headers are recognised loosely (payroll number, badge, date and time in one column or two, in and out spelled out or as 0 and 1).
Biometrics engage your liability, not only your budget
Biometric data is not data like any other. Levia requires a recorded consent, per employee and per modality, before any enrolment, and refuses enrolment without it. Consent can be withdrawn, and the withdrawal is traced.
This framing targets the GDPR for companies exposed to European law and Tunisian law 2004-63 on personal data protection, with the INPDP as the reference authority. It is not a selling point, it is the condition for deploying a terminal without exposing the company.
Schedules, Ramadan and overtime
The schedule editor describes the week day by day · start time, end time, break length · with four ready templates, one of them for Ramadan. A schedule can be applied to a whole population at once, with a preview of what will change before anything is written.
Ramadan and Eid dates are computed automatically from the Hijri calendar, and HR is alerted at the start and at the end, with a link to the editor. The switch itself stays a human decision: Levia does not change your contractual hours on its own.
Three configurable daily thresholds warn when a day exceeds the duration you set. Overtime uplifts are defined per day type and per hourly threshold, with a validity start date · an old payslip therefore recomputes with the rules of its own period.
Correcting without rewriting history
An employee who forgot to clock in flags it from their own screen. The manager files a correction request, HR decides, and the change keeps the trace of its author. For a whole month to catch up, a bulk rectification proposes a plan that skips public holidays, non-working days, approved leave and days already corrected by hand.
On the employee side, the clock-in screen shows today’s hours live, the last seven days, a thirty-one-day view and the month’s statistics. Records export to CSV and Excel for audits and for payroll.

Frequently asked questions
Which biometric terminals are supported?
ZKTeco (iClock and MultiBio SOAP formats), Suprema, Hikvision, Anviz and Dahua. The terminal pushes its punches to Levia on an endpoint protected by a device-specific token. Remote control of the terminals is not provided by Levia.
Can a fingerprint or face be enrolled from Levia?
No. Enrolment happens in the terminal manufacturer’s software. Levia records the employee’s consent, without which enrolment must not take place, then receives and consolidates the punches.
What if my site has no connection?
The punch file exported by the terminal imports as CSV, Excel or .dat. Common headers are recognised automatically, including when date and time sit in two separate columns.
Is GPS clock-in mandatory for employees?
You decide. A zone can be advisory · the punch goes through and the discrepancy is flagged to HR · or blocking · an out-of-zone punch is refused. A position is only requested when a blocking zone actually exists.
Can employees clock in with a QR code or a photo?
The QR code, yes. A screen at the entrance shows a constantly renewed code · the employee scans it with their phone camera, then confirms. A printed poster is possible too, but only backed by a worksite whose zone is blocking, since a fixed code can be photographed. Taking a photo at clock-in time is not implemented.
Can employees clock in from WhatsApp, Slack or Teams?
Yes, through the Levia conversational assistant: a punch sent from one of these apps is recorded together with its channel of origin.
Is Ramadan handled?
Ramadan and Eid dates are computed automatically, a Ramadan schedule template is provided, and HR is alerted at the start and the end of the period. Applying the change stays with HR, it is not automatic.
Does overtime reach payroll?
Yes. The uplift rules you define · per day type and above an hourly threshold · are read by the payroll engine when the payslip is computed.
