Is Levia MRA-certified?▾
The MRA does not certify payroll software vendors · it publishes format specifications (PAYE return CSV) that software must comply with. Levia generates an export aligned with this format. Before your first declaration, we recommend having it validated by a MIPA-certified accountant to ensure fields match your organization.
Are CSG/NSF/PAYE rates updated automatically?▾
When the annual Finance Act is published (June for July effect), our team updates ContributionRate and TaxBracket in DB with validFrom = effective date. Old payslips keep their old rates (mandatory temporal versioning for 5-year accounting statute).
How much does it cost for a Mauritian SMB of 15 employees?▾

Do you also handle PRGF?▾
Yes, since PRGF Act 2022 it's integrated: 4.5% employer on gross salary, no ceiling, employer charge only. It's added to every payslip and included in the PAYE return export.
What about the domestic tier (domestic employees)?▾
Natively supported. Domestic Tier compliant with Social Contributions Act 2021: CSG employee and employer both at 1.5% (vs 3% standard employer), no HRDC or PRGF. You select the DOMESTIC sector on the relevant member and the calculation applies the right rates automatically. NSF and PAYE remain identical to the general scheme.
What sectors and salary grades are supported?▾
20 ready-to-use grades: 6 cross-sector PRB grades (Executive, Professional, Middle Management, Officer, Clerical, General Worker) + 5 BPO/ICT grades (Agent Trainee → Operations Manager) + 4 TEXTILE grades (Operative → Foreman per Tailoring Trade Remuneration Order) + 5 TOURISM grades (Housekeeping → Hotel Manager per Hotels & Restaurants Remuneration Order). What about Mauritian public holidays?▾
All 14-15 annual public holidays are handled automatically: New Year + holiday, Chinese Spring Festival, Abolition of Slavery, Thaipoosam Cavadee, Maha Shivaratree, National Day, Ugadi, Eid-Ul-Fitr, Labour Day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Divali, All Saints, Arrival of Indentured Labourers, Christmas. Pre-calculated via date-holidays and not counted as worked days in payroll.
